The red list
62 Toronto rental buildings currently score below 70/100 and must post a red RentSafeTO sign at their entrance. See the full list and what red means →
How this works
Every rental building of three storeys / ten units or more is inspected by the City under RentSafeTO and scored out of 100 — since June 2026, buildings must post their colour category at the entrance. We publish every score, layer on other public records (short-term-rental registrations, owner-reported building facts), and add what no dataset captures: structured reviews from people who actually live there. Reviews are anonymous to the public, human-moderated, and about buildings — never individuals.
